2: Posture setting of neck, ensure chin is over the breast bone, making a double chin and the back of the neck straight. Complete throughout day
10: Education on neck pathology for patient to have a better understanding, promote movement and good posture during activities including sedentary
14: Slide back of the head up the wall until chin is tucked fully inwards. Hold 10 seconds
3: Active assisted neck mobilisations, set neck posture, move neck into flexion, rotation and side flexion and use hand to gently apply overpressure to promote range of movement as pain allows
15: With one arm behind back, use the other to flexion the neck and hold for 30 seconds
5: Holding arm on side of pain on chair, move head into side flexion and look downwards into rotation. Hold stretch for 30 seconds and repeat 3 times
6: Holding arm on side of pain on chair, move head away into rotation to stretch. Hold chin to chest use hands over top of head for 30 seconds
9: Soft tissue massage to neck musculature and surrounding area
11: Isometric neck flexing. Bend neck slightly forward with palm of hand on forehead, then push head forward whilst pushing into it with hand. hold 10 seconds
12: Isometric rotation. With hand against head, turn head into hand whilst resisting this with hand. hold 10 seconds. Isometric side bending. With head straight and palm of head pressing into it, try bending head down to shoulder whilst resisting with hand
13: Isometric neck extension. With straight neck and hands behind head, push head backwards whilst pushing into head with hands. hold 10 seconds
16: Use the arm rest of a chair to offload shoulder when sitting at home, or at work

17: PRICE: Move as tolerated. Ice for first 24-48 hrs post injury. Attempt to rest from any painful movements. and apply a cold compress to the neck if available for 10-15 mins.
4: Use heat e.g. hot water bottle to neck to help relax muscles and assist pain relief. Ensure heat is not applied directly to skin and area is checked regularly
